Besides the fact that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning, ensuring six more weeks of winter for us, what else is happening in the world? (Don’t worry – Phil is only right about 39 percent of the time.)
This morning, Oscar nominations were announced. Among them was first-time nominee Christopher Plummer, age 80! Just last week we talked about the older generation making a killing at the GRAMMY Awards, and now we’ve got Plummer, who was nominated for his portrayal of Leo Tosltoy in The Last Station, turning heads at a late age.
