Spring is in the air, and with spring comes warmer weather, blooming trees and gardening. Well, Create The Good [1]just added a new toolkit to the website and it’s all about how to start-or join-a community garden [2]. Are you familiar with community gardens?
Community gardens are a great way to work with neighbors and community members to grow nutritious, healthy fruits and vegetables. Once your garden gets going, you can enjoy the fruits and veggies it yields, and you can share them with local community organizations who feed the hungry.
So go ahead, get outdoors, connect with your neighbors, and use our new TOOLKIT [2] to preserve some green space. We hope you bring in a bountiful harvest. And don’t forget – we’d love to hear about your community garden!
