2010 AARP National Spelling Bee

spelling bee.JPG

That's right, folks. AARP is having a national spelling bee and you can be our next spelling champion!
The contest is open to anyone over 50 who has the skills and motivation to go up against some of the best spellers in the nation for some serious spelling competition. The AARP National Spelling Bee was actually created in 1996 by a group of AARP members in Cheyenne, Wyoming, who wanted to challenge themselves and others their age to see how sharp they still were, and has built to be a national event.
If you go to the contest page, you can register, look at last year's competition wordlist, and find other resources to check out, like fun word games. Good luck!
