Check out AARP’s slideshow [1]made for Martin Luther King Day yesterday — its imagery of Reverend Dr Martin Luther King Jr. is not to miss. MLK would have been 83 years old on Saturday.

Let’s also not forget that MLK Day isn’t just about remembering the man and his vision for justice, but also is a day (and week) of service for those who want to help work toward a world of peace and equality:
Much of the progress made toward fulfilling King’s vision has been accomplished through the actions of citizen volunteers — folks who over the years have taken to heart King’s call to action: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?’ ”
