AARP.org Nominated for a Webby

The Webby

The Oscars may have come and gone but each spring the Oscars of the Web occur, and this year, folks, AARP will be on the red carpet. We’re proud to announce that AARP.org has been nominated for a Webby for Best Association Website.

That’s right. We prove that you can still be hip (and have hip content) after 50.

While it is an honor just to be nominated, we need your help in winning! We want you to cast your vote (early and often) so we can grab the silver statue in June.  You have until April 28 to cast your vote(s).

Which organizations are we up against? These fine institutions: American Institute of Architects, the Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass, the American Society of Landscape Architects, and the Tourist Bureau of St John’s, Newfoundland.

Come on, we can do this. Show them that the 50+ still have a voice on the Interwebs.
