This is a guest post by Siena Witte, Marketing Manager of GreatNonProfits.

“As the parent of a ten-year-old boy with Spina Bifida, I find SBAA to be an indispensable source of information and support. They provide some of the most valuable services imaginable to families who are dealing with Spina Bifida,” writes Tod J. Tod J’s experience with Spina Bifida Association of America is a powerful demonstration of one of the many ways nonprofits can truly make a difference for those affected by health issues.

Thousands of nonprofits around the world are providing important health services each and every day, but donations aren’t all they need to succeed. By taking just a few minutes to write a review of a nonprofit you’ve had a personal experience with on GreatNonprofits.org, you can help put the organization’s work in front of thousands of potential donors and volunteers.

This June, GreatNonprofits needs your help to highlight top-rated nonprofits focusing on providing health services to those in need. Any organization that receives 10 or more positive reviews during the month of June will be listed as a Top-Rated Health Nonprofit.

Help identify a nonprofit that you have worked with – as a donor, volunteer, client or board member – by writing a review for the 2011 Health Campaign. Click here to get started.

GreatNonprofits is a place for people to discover, discuss, and learn about nonprofits. Writing a review is simple and easy, explains Perla Ni, Founder and CEO of GreatNonprofits. “Reviews can be as simple as a few sentences…It’s not the length of the review or even how much time it takes to put it together; what matters is that it comes from a place of caring.”
