Stressed out. Overwhelmed. Isolated.
Too often, that’s what family caregivers experience, as they try to do everything themselves. And while family members and friends want to help, often they don’t know what to do.
Luckily, today there’s a great resource for family caregivers and those who care about them, says National Family Caregivers Association President and Co-Founder Suzanne Mintz. That’s because of a free online service calledLotsa Helping Hands. Established by former caregiver Barry Katz and his best friend, Hal Chapel, Lotsa Helping Hands provides a simple and effective way for caregivers to get the support they need, with just the click of a button. It works like this:
Lotsa Helping Hands gives the caregiver’s community “the tools to get the job done.”
So if you’re a family caregiver who wants to create a community of volunteers, or you’re a family, friend or colleague who wants to help ease the workload of a caregiver, learn more about the free service.
