Election day is more than six weeks away, but we already have a winner. The 2012 AARP Voters’ Guide has been named one of the six best voter education tools by NerdWallet , a leader in data transparency and financial literacy.
NerdWallet’s criteria were “most innovative, thorough, and well-researched voter education tools, resources and non-profits out there.”
The AARP Voters’ Guide supports You’ve Earned a Say to provide Americans with information – no political jargon or spin – about proposals on the table in Washington that affect Medicare and Social Security. The guide lets you know where the candidates stand on those issues, in their own words, before you cast your vote. Just enter your address and you can build your own ballot customized for where you live.

The message the six tools share: Register. Learn the issues. Know the candidates. Vote.
