Fix the Flaw: How to Get Fit Arms After 50

But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple things we can do to get our bodies back . . . one area at a time.
I’ve started a new series for the AARP YouTube Channel which will focus on all the things we can do to make our lives better as we age, including getting fitter and stronger. This week, we’ll focus on one area that vexes many women over 50, but which can be helped with one fantastic exercise.
SPOTLIGHT ON ARMS
In addition to fighting osteoporosis, the Push-Up is the gold standard for whipping arms into great shape. But you have to do them right to make them really work. And, don’t be discouraged if you can’t do the full Push-Up right away. Build up to it, like I did. Take it slow, but definitely incorporate this excellent and efficient exercise into your daily fitness program. You will see amazing results in a very short amount of time. But the best part will be what you don’t see at all: you’ll be building better bones which will be strong and ready to battle osteoporosis. And that’s what it’s all about.
