Jim Depew says:

I am amazed at the fuss AARP is making over the medicare problem. As an organization, they actively supported the bill that has put in this mess. The AARP supported the prescription bill put forth but this administration and have supported all of Bush's prescription limiting proposals. Look in the mirror AARP, Pogo was right, the enemy is us.

Mark says:

Disagree with Jim, part of the issue is that CMS cannot negotiate lower prices on Rx. Medicare + with its 12% enducemnet is the administrations way to privatize Medicare. Insurance and pharmacy have more lobbyists on capital hill than any other industry. Why, fear of a single payer system. We need national health insurance now. Allow persons 55 to buy into Medicare as an insurance option to start. Put the medical practitioner back in charge of your health care.
