Although I am paying premiums monthly, the very things I need coverage for is not in any way covered by Medicare, namely Dentures and Eyeglasses.
Without the coverage for Dentures I cannot eat certain foods that are advised by my Dr. to abate Anemia and consequential conditions that are related to a lack of certain foods which I cannot chew.
Denture/Dental Coverage via medicare would afford me a medical prevention regimen against other medical conditions.
So this bill for fairness is very important and the coverage should be increased to include Dental/Denture and Eyeglasses for the premiums we are now paying.
I am very glad to have this oportunity to add my concern with the population of AARP members.
I was asked about the bailout. Here are my feelings about same:
If we do bail these groups out, we should do the following:
First we shed these firms of the people that are running them and replace them with employees at a down to earth salarys.(no raises unless approved by the stockholders). They either produce or are fired, (No golden parachutes). Give the stockholders more say in what goes on in these firms. No big bonuses, do not let the CEO'S, Chairpersons, etc. run roughshod over the investors. Make them realize that the investors are the grease and oil that keeps these companies in business. There is too much cronyism whith these higher eschalon and "Good Ole Boy's and Gal's" they cover one anothers backs, etc.. I know that these comments of mine will be torn apart for content, Spelling etc.. I do not worry about this, I have been around for some time now, lived through a depession, served in WW2, Korea, and Viet Nam, so, I have seen many mistakes made also the atempts to cover them up.
Have a nice day.
