Probably the best way to alert candidates to the issues faced, by the general public, is by resonding to website invitations to vote on line. unfortunatally I, for one, enjoy inadequate feedback to guide my choices based on issues. I usually vote my party ticket which agrees generally with my feelings at election time. If the popular vote was recognized as the way to elect candidates, as it may be in some other countries, issues might be more significant.

There are millions of us who were disgusted by the actions of the DNC, the sexism, the misogynous jokes of network news broadcasters, the iron my shirt sign, and votes being discounted by a political group we were supposed to be able to trust. The common thread seems to be we won't support an illegitimate selected nominee who does not reflect the voter’s wishes.

There are many paths. Some are voting for McCain with the hope Hillary Clinton will run again in 2012, some are feeling powerless and not voting, some are voting independent, and some will support the selected nominee.

I refuse to sit quietly by and watch Americans “buy the packaging while ignoring the product in side”. Educating the public about the selected nominee is the best way I can think of to make a difference in this election. Google the keywords “Donald Young”, “Larry Sinclair” and you will get a feeling something is very wrong here. Make an educated choice by taking time to learn about the person who will get your vote!

All of our medicare issues started when Kennedy borrowed to finance the trip to the moon. The surplus in Social Security that he borrowed against was to be repaid.It was never repaid. What have we accomplished. Ruining lives our our veterans, seniors, etc that paid the price for us to be free. Now they all will have their healthcare compromised. My mother who is 76 years young, lives with me because she does not have enough Social Security to live on her own. Now she will have to find new Drs. because most of them will not be accepting medicare due to the cutbacks...... Please get real America!

I can't understand how intelligent Americans can support a candidate, presidential or congressional, that beleives totally different than what our parents had taught us. Well me anyway.

My mom and dad worked hard all their lives. I saw some of my daddy's pay stubs from 1950"s where he made $68.00 for a 53 hour week. They tought me to work hard, learn all I can, and help others when possible.

I did work hard, put myself through college at night with a wife, a baby and car payments, it took 7 years. I worked in factories on all shifts, and eventually started a business and became what many call successful.

Now some politicians want to take my hard earned money and give it to some low life that doesn't have the ambition to put on a pair of shoes or pull up their pants. I have jobs available and pay well compared to the area (well above minimum wage). People apply for office positions wearing "FLIP-FLOPS" and factory positions with pants hanging 6" below their underware. - WHERE THE HELL WERE THEIR PARENTS???????? Oh I forgot they were the "Free love 60"s bunch"

Any of us that are over 50 have seen this "Tax the Rich" done berfoe - Now they claim the Rich starts at $250,000.00, and we over 50 know that's a bunch of BULL.

AND

Our wonderful Congressional leaders will not let the people speek about energy. It's a great plan they have - "MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY"! We Americans must vote those two out of office immediately!!! Lets let the politicians know we have a voice that WILL BE HEARD.

Let's do ALL the conservation things and DRILL, DRILL, DRILL to become the GREAT UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THAT OUR FATHERS FOUGHT FOR AND MANY DIED FOR, Just visit Normandy France for a reminder.
