ShAARP Session: Observations from AARP

I withdrew from AARP when you didn't back me up when The Hartford cancelled me erroniously. And Now, I will get everyone I know to drop you because you do NOT care about the elderly since you are backing Obama's Health Plan which will take many, many billions of dollars from MediCare. This is a huge betrayal.!!!!!

Exactly the reason many left along with nearly 300,000 other AARP members, and joined Americanseniors.com because AARP's management is in bed with Washington and obviously HAS NOT read the 2,000 + page bill. Which includes death panels, free medical help for illegals, cuts in medicaid for seniors, establishes free abortions on demand paid for by tax dollars, authorizes waiting lists, and suddenly makes 150 new federal agencies to run medical care programs!!! The MAJORITY of AARP's membership are against the plan but AARP doesnt listen to its members, just like Congress no longer listens to the people who sent them to Washington. PLEASE CANCELyour AARP membership today.

Just learned of your decision to support Obamacare! An totally shocked that you would back such left wing legislation. You have finally sold out your entire base of retired people and I for one (actually two counting my wife) am telling you not to bother sending any memebership renewal forms to me; we are resigning effective right now from your organization.

Maybe Obama will add you to the list of left wing supporters who will get undeserved funding from Washingtton; people like ACORN!

VERY DISAPPOINTED in AARP pledging support for Pelosi-led health care package!! subject much too complicated to ramrod through in such a short time. Healthcare needs reform but in a reasoned way - NOT dictated by a few congressmen in a backroom - our country is supposed to be a democracy!!

Any organization that supports Obama care and his social programs for our country will never see another dime from me. Your organization has stabbed senior citizens in the heart. Please discontinue my membership in AARP and remove me from any mailing list. I've endured your collectivist rhetoric for 23 years, but your support of HR 3962 has pushed me over the edge. AARP does not speak for me nor for thousands of other seniors who value a free society.

aarp is no longer an advocate organization for senior citizens.
You have become and insurance company driven by corporate greed and corruption.

I don't see our congress or senate ready to accept this medical bill they are wanting us to have. They just go on giving themselves another raise and shoving bills through with pork amendments and bribes. This is just to gain power over our way of life that our ancestors, my husband and our present day soldiers fought for and still fight for.

Due to your organizations irresponsible decision to support the Pelosi health care disaster I would like you to cancel my membership. I can no longer be assosiated with any organization that would even consider supporting this bill. You have been a great deceiver of your members.

Odd that this site posts everywhere how to join, but nowhere have I found any link to discontinue enrollment in AARP.

I can not and will not allow my money to be used by this organization which supports the present administrations guidelines on health care reform.

I have great health care through Tricare, and this administration, backed by organizations such as AARP, could very well degrade or even cause me to lose this coverage which I worked for with my years in service to our country.

AARP has only one thing in mind and that is to benefit from the current health care reform. It is called greed.

Once more of your members realize what you are actually after and wake up maybe you will change your support. Though the later is doubtful since AARP stands to gain millions of dollars of new revenue at the cost of those who can't afford it.
