“This virtual career fair offers a lot of different ways to connect to employers in real time, and being able to do all this from the comfort of your own home makes it convenient,” says Ed Redfern Jr. of AARP, one of the event organizers. “This gives people an environment to really prepare for interaction with the employer. I encourage people to do their research on the employers and jobs and get some background information before the event.”

Along with allowing job seekers to chat with company representatives, the career fair will have live chats with Redfern; Phyllis Snyder, vice president of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning; and AARP work expert and columnist Kerry Hannon.
