Last Call to Nominate a Volunteer for the State Andrus Award!

Do you know a 50+ person making a difference in your community? Do they go above and beyond to help their neighbors? Their community? Do they inspire others to volunteer? If you know someone like this, you only have a few more days (June 1 to be exact) to nominate him or her for the AARP State  Andrus Award for Community Service, AARP's most prestigious volunteer award.

Nominees must meet the following eligibility requirements:

- Nominee must be 50 years or older.

- The achievements, accomplishments, or service on which the nomination is based must have been performed on a volunteer basis, without pay.

- The achievements, accomplishments, or service on which the nomination is based must reflect AARP's vision and mission.

- Couples or partners who perform service together are also eligible; however, teams are not eligible.
