If you want to sell all that stuff you've accumulated over the years, you probably think about having a yard or garage sale. But when celebrities pile up on random odds and ends, where do they turn?

We all like a good bargain, but some of the so-called good buys at garage sales or resale shops can be hazardous to your (and your kids' or grandkids') health and safety. In some instances, they could even be fatal.

When I walked up to her garage sale, I loved the sight of Lavonne Thorsen sitting at a fold-up TV dinner tray. "I'm having a good time," Lavonne said with a smile.
