This Saturday, Sept. 28, is National Good Neighbor Day. Who knew? Of course, being a good neighbor every day of the year is always the right thing to do, but bonding with your neighbors can also help fatten your wallet.

Check out this story from the New York Times today. According to the article, the "graying of the gym" is a phenomenon happening before our very eyes. Get this: gym membership among adults aged 55 and up rose to 10.5 million in 2008 - up from 1.5 million in 1987! That makes this group the fastest growing segment of the gym-goer population, according to annual surveys by the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association.
