My Generation

I'll tell you straight up: I don't know much about boxing. But given the chance to go to a Life@50 session, with Alzheimer's hero Leeza Gibbons interviewing a boxing great, I thought I'd learn a little something.
Check out My Generation's recent program on matters of the heart that will give you warm fuzzies, but it's no Valentine's Day special! It's actually about a volunteer-run food kitchen in Soho, New York that cooks and delivers heart-healthy dishes to New Yorkers with life-altering medical conditions. And Joan Rivers is the mastermind behind it.
This short piece was produced for AARP-TV's "My Generation." It won a a 2008 TIVA-DC Peer Gold for directing (non fiction, under thirty minutes). Enjoy
