Caregiving in America
And today, AARP released the results of the most comprehensive survey on caregiving: Caregiving in the U.S., which was funded by MetLife Foundation and conducted for the National Alliance for Caregiving in collaboration with AARP by Mathew Greenwald & Associates. It revealed that almost one-third of the U.S. adult population plays a caregiver role today.
The survey looked in depth at how the recession is affecting caregivers, how technology plays a role in caregiving, and the demographics of typical caregivers in America. Here is the release about the study - and here's the entire study. Are you one of the estimated 65.7 million caregivers in America? How are you juggling your life, work and this additional role...especially with the holiday season approaching?
