Follow Friday: Blog recommendations from the author of "Professional Blogging for Dummies"

Susan Getgood led an active session yesterday afternoon introducing Orlando@50+ goers to blogs, Facebook and Twitter. Fielding questions through her talk, she was full of helpful insight and tips. Want to start a blog? She suggests having a distinct voice and point of view.
"Social media is not just for kids," Getgood said. "Increasingly, it's for everybody."
In fact, 40% of blog readers and 32% of blog writers are boomers and seniors. Getgood also offered some suggestions for 50+ bloggers to check out:
