"Gogos for Mandela"
Take a look at these wonderful South African grandmas. Gogo is a Zulu word for granny, and these Gogos play competitive soccer to stay in shape, have fun and to win!
"The grannies prefer football to knitting" says founder of the grannies football team.
One of the soccer Gogo's even has the nickname "Maradona" after the famous Argentine soccer player who helped bring his country the World Cup in 1986. This video is sure to put a smile on your face and maybe even inspire you to go kick the ball around!
