At long last - Prince William has proposed to long time girlfriend Kate Middleton AND they have been dating for nearly a decade!! The wedding will be held next summer in 2011. "It's great to have a piece of unadulterated good news that everyone can celebrate." Said Prime Minister David Cameron according to Reuters.
But, will Prince William's wedding be as big and glamorous as Charles and Diana's in 1981? Probably not. Britain is currently facing its worst peacetime budget deficit and the wedding will respect the economic times. I'm sure it will be beautiful no matter what. Best of luck to them!
