By Alejandra Owens, November 11, 2010 11:16 AM
George W. Bush, that is. Yep, the former U.S. president sat down with AARP Magazine to talk about his new memoir, what he's up to these days, and retrospectives on his days in office. The magazine with the full interview hits stands on November 15th, but we have a sneak peek with some highlights of the interview here. Here's some of his thoughts on his controversial reputation and the media:
"In terms of what people think about me, the truth of the matter is, I guess I care to a certain extent, but not enough to go out in the public and plead for some kind of new understanding of me. I served. And now it's time for the new man to serve. I have zero desire to be in the limelight."
Check out the other highlights here, and check out the full shebang on newsstands come November 15th!
