Texas Wins Big for Forbes' Most Affordable Cities

San-Antonio.jpg

AARP Bulletin highlights Forbes' recent release of their most affordable cities...and 3 of them are metropolitan areas in Texas. That's right -- San Antonio, Houston and Austin were on their top ten list, along with a number of other cities that were not just valued on their cost of living, but factored in the job market, health care, and a range of other things that contribute to what it means to live financially comfortably in a city. (As it can be so hard to do, as city-dwellers know.)
While these Texas cities were quite the picks, there were also two New York towns (Rochester and Buffalo). And the number one affordable city, according to Forbes? Oklahoma City. Check out the rest here.
