Mark 9/11 with a Service Party

With the 10 ^th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks approaching, Create The Good is encouraging Americans to use the occasion to give back their communities. The 9/11 tragedy brought Americans together and, in that spirit, we suggest you gather your friends and others in your community for a service party on September 9, 10 or 11.

What's a service party? It's a gathering of people who need share only one thing in common: a desire to do good for others. The host (perhaps with some help from a friend) arranges the activity - for example, collecting paperback books to send to U.S. troops serving overseas - and invites at least 10 others age 50+ to participate. The host can be of any age.

Create The Good has helpful toolkits to guide you through many service projects, like fighting hunger, or you could create your own project altogether. It's all good as long as you do good!
