By Natalie Missakian, December 7, 2023 07:01 PM
En español | AARP is up for 19 Anthem Awards for projects that are making a social impact in 2023, and we need your votes.
Launched in 2021 by the group that runs the Webby Awards for digital content, the Anthems are described as the world’s most comprehensive social impact awards. They honor work that inspires others to take action in their communities by amplifying voices that spark global change.
AARP finalists include our reports on elder homelessness, the Alzheimer’s crisis among Latinos, and “grandfluencers” who defy stereotypes about aging. We’re also being recognized for work that helps people keep their brains healthy, check if they’re eligible for internet discounts, stay up to date on the latest technology, file their taxes and more.
This year, you can help us win the Anthem Community Voice Award for the finalist receiving the most support from fans. Click on the categories below and scroll down to vote for your favorite AARP finalist by pressing the “celebrate” button between now and Thursday, Dec. 21. You can only vote for one finalist in each category.
Winners will be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, and will be recognized at an in-person event in New York City.
