En español | Residents of St. Paul, Minnesota, have a new place to work out, make friends and spend time outdoors. On Wednesday, Aug. 17, AARP Minnesota will host a grand opening for our latest fitness park in partnership with the nonprofit FitLot. Located at the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center just two miles from downtown St. Paul, the outdoor park has equipment for more than a dozen different kinds of exercises and will offer free classes.

The grand opening will feature free food trucks and music, along with fitness instructors who can teach you how to get the most out of the equipment. You can sign up for free fitness classes at the event or online.

AARP's partnership with FitLot started in 2019, and we've since opened fitness parks in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Washington, D.C.

Learn more about the grand opening, and find an AARP-sponsored park near you.
