Our Executive Editor Shares Whole Body Reset Tips on 'Today' Show

Eat more dairy. More protein. And embrace healthy fats. Stephen Perrine, executive editor at AARP The Magazine and author of AARP's new The Whole Body Reset book, shared tips for losing weight and staying healthy as you age during a Monday appearance on the Today show.

“We hear from our 38 million readers — all the time — the same issue: ‘I used to be thin. Now I’m not. What’s going on?’” Perrine said. “It’s how we’re eating. We begin to lose muscle as we age. And we need to stop that in order to retain muscle and not gain weight.”

Perrine was joined by coauthor Heidi Skolnik to discuss Whole Body Reset, a nutrition plan developed by AARP and approved by an international board of doctors, nutritionists and fitness experts. The plan comprises simple dietary changes to lose weight and adapt to your nutritional needs as you age.
