E-Learning Offers "Educational Goldmine"

Now this is pretty darn neat. AARP Bulletin's Bill Hogan delves into the world of "e-learning" - in other words, getting a higher education for free online.
While you don't get the actual college credit, certain online programs like MIT's OpenCourseWare offers 2,000 MIT courses full of syllabuses, assignments, exams and even video lectures - and all without spending a dime. It's a great opportunity for folks who never got to study certain areas earlier in life that they always wanted to, but couldn't afford it or didn't have the time.
There are countless reasons folks are and should be taking advantage of e-learning, but for many, I don't doubt it's given them a second chance at figuring out where their passion lies - and allowing them to learn it!
