Scrolling through Twitter the other night, I stumbled came across a great story by Golf Digest senior editor Stina Sternberg about an 85-year-old Ohio woman who got fitted for a new set of golf clubs.
My philosophy on saving money is pretty simple. I don't buy what I don't need. And if I buy it and I feel guilty about it (What am I going to do with this? This is too much to spend on this!) I'll likely return it.
If you are in back-to-school shopping mode this weekend (Aug. 3-5), make sure you take in all the possible discounts through comparison shopping, using retailers' coupons and matching prices.
