NFLPA + AARP = Creating Good!

We all know that taking action in our communities is important - to both the communities we serve and our own well-being. AARP has been committed to volunteerism through its Create the Good initiative, and now AARP is teaming up with the NFL Players Association ( NFLPA) to spread the word.
James "JB" Brown - who also happens to be hosting the NFL's biggest game this Sunday on CBS - has been involved with Create the Good since its launch in 2009 as AARP's Community Ambassador. He will be helping to recruit players to get involved in Create the Good activities beginning in April 2010 - National Volunteer Month.
Former and current NFL players will be participating in service events with AARP's Create the Good in communities across the nation in April, and later on in the year. The NFLPA has been committed to recognizing players who volunteer for years, and this year there might be a lot to recognize! We'll keep you updated on events as more details are available!
You can also check out this blog post from USA Today on the partnership.
